I have another life – and another name – as a writer for television, radio and the theatre.  I’ve always been fascinated by the moment when eros enters your bloodstream with its whispered potential for chaos and ecstasy. This impulse has informed much of what I have written but in the inevitably conservative world of broadcast media it has never been allowed free rein. Or at least this is what I have always told myself. The truth is that even as a long-time consumer of erotica I have produced very little myself. And yet I’m a writer. Recently this has come to seem strange to me. I may at some stage try to analyse this more closely. But for now I’m going to do what I do best. I’m going to tell stories.
